CPF/DIF: the deadline is approaching!

How to recover up to €1,800 to train you?
If you were an employee before 2015, you must have benefited from the DIF and you probably have hours left on it. Our advice will help you to recover these hours and help you convert them into euros.

Did you know that?

The DIF (effective 2005) was an account credited in training hours. It allowed any employee to contribute 20 hours of training per year of work. These hours could be accumulated up to 6 years, or 120 hours of training maximum.
Since the switch to the Compte Personnel de Formation (CPF) in 2015, each private sector asset has an account credited in euros and no longer in hours.
Many believe that the hours of the DIF were automatically converted into euros during the transition to the CPF, but they were wrong!

How can I keep my due?

Don’t worry, it is not (yet) too late! The remaining hours not consumed on your DIF can be converted into euros and transferred to your CPF. But it is up to you to do this operation! How? On the basis of an attestation that your employer necessarily gave you at the end of 2014, or your salary statement of December 2014 or January 2015. Once you have found one of these two documents, log in to your CPF and download it (create your account if you haven’t already done so, it’s here.)
Let yourself be guided, the approach is simple and it only takes 2 minutes!

Until when?

You have until December 31, 2020 to do this transaction. After that time, the DIF will no longer exist. That means that money will be lost— And this loss can be consequential!
For example, each hour of DIF is converted to €15. If you have 40 hours left on your DIF, that’s €600. If you have never used your DIF and your counter is at its maximum (120h), you are about to lose €1,800! Don’t miss a great opportunity to train you.

To conclude

It’s worth doing some administrative searches to find this attestation and upload it to your CPF account, right? It’s up to you!
